Jazz & tap. Pure rhythm.

Rhythm, stage presence, and the joy of making noise with your feet. Jazz and tap are at the heart of VPS, and the foundations of our competitive teams.

Why jazz & tap

Rhythm is a skill. We teach it early.

Tap and jazz are where dancers develop their ear for music. Tap trains the body to become an instrument, every footfall deliberate, every syncopation intentional. Jazz builds the performance quality that makes a dancer magnetic to watch.

We start with Mini Tap at age 3, simple rhythms, big smiles, and a growing sense of what it means to move with music. Junior classes layer in technique, and our Senior Jazz & Tap class (ages 8–12) is the competitive core that feeds our Emerald, Sapphire, and Diamond Dance Teams.
